On which day did the disciples worship? Believing is Doing, Faith is Action A Brief Historic Interview

Believing is Doing, Faith is Action.

Torah Keepers is an educational ministry dedicated to encouraging believers in a Torah observant life.

We believe that the principle expression of our faith is found in the Deuteronomy 6:4-5

"Hear, O Israel: YHWH is our Elohim, YHWH is one. And thou shalt love YHWH thy Elohim with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might."

We believe that YHWH Elohim is the Sovereign Creator, Sustainer, Redeemer, Deliverer and Savior of the world.

We believe that there is only one true Elohim, the Elohim of Abraham, Yitzchaq, Ya'akov and Yeshua.

We believe that the Torah is the Self-Revelation of Elohim and therefore is the expressed image of Elohim.

We believe that man was created to live the Torah, which is the image of Elohim.

We believe that where the Torah is lived out faithfully the attributes of Elohim are made manifest.

We believe that the Torah was written in the heart of man by the Spirit of the Holy One from the beginning of creation.

We believe that due to sin and the fall of man the joy and knowledge of spiritual communion with YHWH our Elohim has been greatly diminished. This has lead to the continued corruption, distortion, and desecration of the image of Elohim in man. At the same time man's sensual eyes were opened. Because man has chosen to live by his senses rather than by revelation knowledge gained through communion with the Creator, man has propagate false and distorted images that have lead to the world's religions and idolatry.

We believe that because man lives by his senses Elohim has encountered man through his senses. To this end Elohim gave the Torah in a tangible written form through Moses to the Children of Yisrael at Mount Sinai, as recorded in the scriptures.

At Sinai the children of Israel agreed to live by the exclusive word of YHWH.

We believe that Yisrael is defined as those who keep this covenant.

We believe that Yisrael is YHWH'S chosen people.

We believe that the Children of Yisrael are chosen to embody the Self-Revelation of Elohim in the world through their obedience to the Torah. By doing so, the Children of Yisrael become a light of revelation to the nations that they too may come to know the One True Elohim.

We believe that Elohim has bound himself to the Children of Yisrael through His covenant promises. The Torah contains the records of these covenants.

We believe that one cannot benefit from these covenant promises without being grafted in to Yisrael.

We believe that we become a citizen of the commonwealth of Yisrael through faith in Yeshua HaMashiach.

We believe that Yeshua of Nazareth is the Son of Elohim, born of a virgin, and Anointed with the fullness of the Spirit of the Holy One as the promised Mashiach of Yisrael.

At Mount Sinai the children of Yisrael entered into a marriage covenant, a blood covenant, with the Holy One. Because of their persistent rebellion and infidelity the Holy One divorced the children of Israel, scattering them to the four corners of the earth. Since the Holy One is likewise bound by His word, he may not take back his defiled "bride" (Deuteronomy 24:1-4).

We believe that Yeshua HaMashiach came to gather the Children of Yisrael back to Elohim, to the Torah, and to the Land of Promise.
We believe that Yeshua came to take on the lot of the unfaithful wife. He drank the cup of bitter water (Numbers 5:11-31 cp Matthew 26:39, 42) and died for our sins.

By faith we identify ourselves as the body of Mashiach. By faith we, the unfaithful wife, are put to death. By faith we are raised again a new creature able to enter again into covenant with the Holy One.

We believe that Yeshua came to make it possible for us to enter again into the covenant and not to free us from it.

We believe that Yeshua HaMashiach came not to destroy the Torah but to give it meaning and substance.

We believe that Yeshua HaMashiach is our only Rabbi teaching us Torah through His words, actions and Spirit.

We believe that by fulfilling the Torah in loving obedience Yeshua HaMashiach perfectly embodied Elohim in our world. Thus we believe that Yeshua is the Torah become flesh and dwelling among us as the light of the world.

We believe that all believers in Yeshua are called to become the body of Mashiach through the keeping of the Torah.
We believe that when the Spirit of the Holy One fulfills the Renewed Covenant promise that the Torah will again be written on the hearts of all believers restoring the image of Elohim in man and in the world.

We believe that neither fear of hell nor hope of salvation is the proper motivation for keeping the Torah, but rather love, for YHWH Elohim and His Mashiach, alone is the reason we keep the Torah.

We believe that those who keep the Torah to escape hell or to gain heaven are still under the law. Those who keep Torah out of genuine love for Elohim without thought of reward or punishment are living out the true spirit of the law.

We believe that the Torah, the Self-Revelation of Elohim, is a gift of grace to every believer.

We believe that those who love Yeshua keep YHWH'S commandments joyfully and do not find them to be grievous. Thus obedience to the Self-Revelation of Elohim is the fruit of the sanctifying work of the Spirit of the Holy One.

We believe that the Torah was neither destroyed, nor annulled, nor contradicted by the life, teaching, ministry, death or resurrection of Mashiach. Rather, the Torah contains pertinent revelations about the Mashiach's life, sacrifice, ministry, and return.

We believe that Elohim has called us to restore the teaching and practice of Torah among believers in Yeshua HaMashiach that they may again embody the image of Elohim in the world and become a light of hope for the nations.
